3/7/2013 · On examining the Official Copies we discovered that a historic lease from 1972 was still noted on the Charges Register. As part of our work to remove this historic lease we carried out a Land Charges Search which revealed a C ( IV ) Land Charge recorded in the name of the historic Tenant under an agreement dated 30 January 1975.

11/23/2012 · I am dealing with a purchase of unregistered land for development. Within the epitome there is reference to a C ( iv ) entry . The search has been certified as not relating to the area being purchased. However the certificate refers to an old O.S Number and therefore there is no certainty as to what O.S number the plot being purchased fell within.
